香港輪椅輔助隊 (HKWAS) 於1997年由一群熱心義工創立，目標是為社會上傷健人士、照顧者及有需要人士提供不同的支援服務。本會服務範圍廣泛，主要包括：助行器具維修服務、短期租借服務、社會工作、教育和社區服務等。自建立服務雛型以來，香港輪椅輔助隊一直致力協助傷健人士及推廣無障礙社會，向有需要人士提供援助，改善及提升服務使用者的生活質素。

Hong Kong Wheelchair Aid Service (HKWAS) was founded in 1997 by a group of dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to empower the community by providing essential support to individuals with disabilities, their caregivers and those in need. We provide a comprehensive suite of support services, including mobility aid repairs, short-term equipment rentals, social work, and community education. Since our inception, HKWAS has remained steadfast in advocating for a barrier-free society. By delivering timely assistance, we strive to significantly enhance the quality of life for all our service users.

Mission:
(a) To protect wheelchair users and their respective family members from unnecessary injuries.
(b) To enable wheelchair users in continuing and completing their daily study, work, and activities.

Vision:
(a) With our service, there is not any unnecessary injury occurred to all wheelchair users and their family members.
(b) All wheelchair users can continue and complete their daily tasks.
